Our Story

Benzil Milk Products was founded in 2022 in Butiama District, Mara Region, with one clear goal: to bring fresh, safe, and nutritious dairy products to our community while supporting small-scale farmers.

Our journey began in 2020, when our founder—himself a dairy farmer—saw the challenges facing farmers who lacked reliable markets and consumers who struggled to access consistent, high-quality milk. With the support of family savings and guidance from the Small Industrial Development Organization (SIDO), we built our first processing facility, which now processes up to 3,000 liters of milk per day.

Today, Benzil Milk Products proudly transforms fresh milk into pasteurized milk, flavored yogurts, and milk-based beverages, creating value for farmers and ensuring families across the Lake Zone and beyond enjoy dairy they can trust.

To provide safe, affordable, and nutritious dairy products while empowering local farmers and contributing to the growth of Tanzania’s dairy industry.

What We Do

Milk Processing → Pasteurized milk and flavored yogurts (strawberry, vanilla, chocolate), with plans for milk-based beverages and cheese.
Farmer Support → We partner with local farmers through training, technical support, and innovative programs such as “Kopa Ng’ombe Lipa Maziwa” (borrow a cow, repay with milk).
Community Engagement → We create jobs for youth and women, run milk-selling centers and vending machines for affordable access, and contribute to nutrition awareness.
Sustainability → We cultivate our own fodder on 105 hectares, invest in modern, efficient technology, and maintain strict quality and safety standards.

Our leadership combines expertise in production, quality control, finance, sales, and community development.
